Bariatrics - PA job located in Payson, Arizona

We are actively interviewing experienced emergency medicine (EM) family nurse practitioners (FNP) or physician assistants (PA) to join our team full-time at Banner Payson Medical Center in Payson, Arizona as a lead advanced practice clinician. In joining (Login for Information), you become part of one of our nation's leading healthcare organizations that specializes in hospitalist medicine, emergency medicine and specialty medicine.

About the Role:

• 10-bed ED facility with 15,000 annual volumes
• Advanced practice provider (APP) and specialty coverage
• Level IV facility with 10% admittance and 6% transfer rate
• EMR: Cerner with dragon

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the emergency department under the supervision of ED physicians
• Oversee clinical care, ensuring patients receive high-quality, compassionate treatment
• Lead and collaborate with the medical team, including physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff
• Potentially take on some leadership and supervisory duties (prior leadership experience is not mandatory, it is ideal)
• Work with an experienced, cohesive team to manage the EDs annual case load

Required Qualifications:

• Two years of post-graduate experience as a PA or FNP in emergency medicine
• Ability to work independently and make quick, informed decisions in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous leadership or supervisory experience
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with medical staff, patients, and families
