A facility in Potsdam, NY is looking for a locum tenens Cardiology APP to assist with coverage for a maternity leave stretch. Candidates must be board certified and have an active BLS. Active NY license required.

This hospital-based role involves seeing 2025 patients per day, working Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM with no call. Responsibilities include rounding, consults, device interrogations, writing notes, managing follow-up appointments, assisting with stress tests, notifying patients and providers of abnormal results, handling prescriptions and patient calls, and providing coverage for result in-baskets. Additionally, there may be support for RNs in managing warfarin for abnormal INRs.
