A health system is seeking a neurocritical care physician assistant for locum tenens coverage.

This position requires coverage from February 25th to March 3rd, with shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Responsibilities are inpatient-only, with the ability to perform ICU-level care and respond to codes. There is no ER backup or call coverage. Required certifications include ACLS and BLS, and the facility uses the EPIC EMR system. The average inpatient census is 20, with providers managing 4 patients and 2 admissions per day on average. The facility has 20 beds, and required procedures include arterial lines, central lines, lumbar punctures, and vent management.
