Medical Center is seeking Locum BC CRNA to provide coverage starting 5/23/2025
- Available Dates:
May: 23, 27–30 (7a–3p)
June: 16–20, 26–27 (7a–3p)
July: 3, 7–11, 14–18 (7a–3p)
August: 22, 25 (7a–3p)
- Coverage: Scheduled + On Call required
- Department Description: comprised of ortho, ortho trauma, general, general trauma, spine, neuro, cath lab, ambulatory and endo.
- Practice Setting: Hospital
- “Bread and butter” general surgery, urology, orthopedics, podiatry, breast cancer surgery, vascular and thoracic cases.
- We also average 10-20 Endoscopy cases per day under propofol-infusion.
- No Peds, heads, hearts, ENT or spines.
- CRNAs are Medically Supervised
- CRNAs work with the anesthesiologist as an anesthesia care team.
- The anesthesiologists cover the Labor and Delivery floor, but the CRNA may be involved in an elective or urgent C-section from time-to-time with the anesthesiologist.
- An average day, depending on the specialty could involve 4-7 cases in the OR.
- Number of ORs: 11 in the main OR, 2 in the ambulatory center
- Daily Volume: 50-60 cases per day
- EMR System: Cerner and SaAnesthesia
- Required: AZ license, ACLS, 1 yr minimum experience, flu and covid vaccine
