A busy hospital is seeking a CRNA for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located in Elgin, IL.
This 12-week assignment involves general and orthopedic cases, requiring board certification or fellowship. Candidates must hold an active state license to apply, as licensing is not accommodated. The role includes 10-hour shifts with 5 weekday calls per month, as well as weeknight and weekend pager call requirements, but no in-house call or overtime. The hospital utilizes iPro and paper charting systems, operates one anesthesia room, and features a 5:1 CRNA-to-MD ratio with loose MD supervision. MDs occasionally perform their own cases.
