A Community Hospital is seeking a CRNA for locum tenens coverage.
While on assignment in Central Missouri, enjoy fun outdoor activities including the City Museum, Missouri Botanical Garden, or the STL Zoo!
This position is seeking additional coverage for a Monday through Friday schedule, 7 AM to 3 PM. The call ratio is 1:8 for both primary beeper call and backup call, with backup call lasting one week at a time and rare callbacks (30-minute response time). Case types include General Surgery, OB/GYN, ENT, Ortho, Urology, Endoscopy, and Healthy Pediatric ENT (ear tubes, tonsils, frenulectomies). Responsibilities include spinal blocks, peripheral nerve blocks, obstetrical cases, complex cases, and limited trauma (Level III), along with arterial line placement and post-operative extremity blocks. Neuraxial and regional skills are required, with expertise in ultrasound-guided techniques preferred. There are no hearts, heads, or backs. The care model is 40% medical direction and 60% solo, with anesthesiologists providing medical direction and surgeons supervising when CRNAs are first call.
