A busy hospital is seeking a CRNA for locum tenens coverage.
Albany is the capital city of New York State! There is plenty to do while on assignment! Take a trip to the New York State Museum or the Albany Institue of History and Art
This position offers flexible shifts of 8, 10, or 12 hours. The anesthesiologist will provide a mix of hands-on support and supervision throughout the procedures. The caseload includes a diverse range of specialties such as orthopedics, general surgery, urology, neurosurgery, vascular, gynecology, ENT, renal transplants, thoracic surgery, plastics, ophthalmology, and various non-operating room anesthesia (NORA) procedures. Our facility is a Level 1 trauma center and a tertiary referral center, equipped with 35 operating rooms in the main hospital, along with a 5-room endoscopy suite, cath lab, electrophysiology (EP), and interventional radiology (IR) suites. The anesthesia team consists of approximately 50 physicians, 70 CRNAs, and 25 residents. For scheduling, we are primarily looking for candidates who prefer 10-hour shifts, but we are open to discussing options for 40 hours per week through either 5 x 8 or 4 x 10 shifts.
