A facility is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located in Amsterdam, NY.
An active New York license is required for this role, where all Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) will be cross-credentialed to work at the main Emergency Department (ED) and three Urgent Care clinics. The ED handles 20,000 cases annually with 24 MD hours and 20 APP hours per week. APP shifts are from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. in the ED, and from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the Urgent Care clinics. The EMR system used is Meditech. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance will be provided.
Dates Needed: September - Ongoing
Case Load/PPD: 20,000 annual volume in ED. UCs are 20-30 PPD.
