Job Description
- Twelve-hour shifts with approximately two patients per hour
- Three shifts/week is full-time with opportunity for overtime
- No overnight shifts and no responsibility for psychiatric patients
- Physician assistant needed
- Flexible scheduling
- Ninety percent of ED admissions managed by the hospitalists
- Six care teams with three for high acuity, one for psychiatry, one for urgent care and the other addressing overflow
- Physician support in the care team
