Job Description

Our ideal Physician Assistant would treat health conditions, as well as promote good health practices. As an Advanced Practitioner, you will be our go-to person for ensuring the best patient care possible by conducting physical examinations, interpreting lab test, and overseeing patient's overall health. Being both a health practitioner and educator supporting disease prevention practices and helping people lead healthy lives. A team spirit, positive attitude, patience, problem solving skills with great written and verbal communication skills are necessary to be successful in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Examine patient in office using Benchmark EMR system
- Order and study diagnostic test (blood test, x-rays, etc)
- Diagnose health conditions and illness
- Propose treatments for chronic disease
- Prescribe medications
- Maintain accurate records and schedules
- Inform patients about their health conditions and prescribed medications
- Educate patient and their family members on diseases, epidemics, and prevention
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in clinic, outpatient, primary care, endocrine, internal medicine or chronic care practices
- Working knowledge of health and patient care regulations
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong ethics
- Valid Texas license
Schedule:
Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 8am to 4pm
Wednesday 8am to noon
Friday 8am to 3pm
