Nurse Practitioner Anchorage, AK
We are looking for a motivated Nurse Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary medical practice in Anchorage, AK. We are looking for a provider who can join us on a full-time basis providing direct patient care. Our ideal Nurse Practitioner is holistically minded, comfortable working within an integrated setting, collaborating with a knowledgeable and well-respected team of professionals, to offer a comprehensive approach to patient’s health and wellness concerns. Job duties include performing trigger point injections and PRP injections, and prescribing DME. We are looking for the Nurse Practitioner to join us full time, 35 hours a week.

Duties:
- Patient exam/evaluation (medical history, physical exam, review pertinent med records/imaging) Medicaid and Medicare Exams
- Order and review tests/labs (can provide training on in-house protocols)
- Diagnosis and treatment plan formulation
- Patient education as to diagnosis, treatment options, rehab/exercises and various modalities
- Manage patient care
- Referrals for PT on Medicaid and Medicare
- Treatments- perform trigger point, joint PRP injections
- Prescribe DME as needed
- Documentation and progress notes
- Referring patients to hands on care
- Collaboration with the multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- NP license in AK
- Orthopedic, Physical Med and Rehab, or Pain management background is a plus
- Experience with joint injections a plus
Compensation:
- $130k-$140k
Schedule:
- M-F or M-Th
