Job Description
Medical Center is seeking Locum BC Cardiothoracic Physician Assistant or Nurse Practioner to provide coverage
- Amount of Coverage Needed per Month: 4 days, 7a-3p plus call 3p-7a
- Schedule:
April 14, 15, 16 7a-3p + night beeper call
April 21, 22, 23, 24 7a-3p + night beeper call
- Shifts - 7a-3p M-F with night beeper call, 24 hour call on Sat/Sun
- Support Staff: Surgeon
- Patients per day: 10-15 CVICU/step down patients, plus 1-2 surgeries
- Patient Population/Age: adult/geron
- Department Description: CT Surgery
- EMR: Cerner
- Hospital Bed size: 199
- Special Procedures: temporary pacemaker removal, chest tube removal, IABP removal, Aline placement
- Skills Required: recent cardiothoracic surgery, proficient with EVH
- Minimum Experience Required: 3 years in cardiothoracic surgery with EVH
- Licensure as a Physicians Assistant in the State of Arizona OR Graduate from an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program required
- ACLS, BLS, DEA, Covid and Flu vaccine required.
