Physician Assistant Nurse Practitioner Lancaster, CA

We are looking for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our medical group full time in Lancaster, CA.
We are seeking providers who practice medicine with excellent patient care and customer service. Ideally, we are looking for a compassionate Board-Certified PA or NP to join our team of providers, giving our patients the best, highest quality care that they need and deserve. We focus on making sure our providers have enough time to address the patient’s needs in a friendly environment, so that you can give your patients your full individual attention without being rushed. We prefer a candidate who is fluent or proficient in Medical Spanish, but it is not required. The main provider duties include Complete Annual Wellness Exams at our office, as well as some home/custodial visits, and assisting in closing quality care gaps (screenings and labs). There is no after hour call with this position. There is an opportunity to float to other departments within our group if wanted (urgent care/clinic).

Our knowledgeable and well-respected group offers primary care and an array of specialists, including an Urgent Care Center. We focus on making sure our providers have enough time to address the patient’s needs in a friendly environment.
Duties:
- Complete Annual Wellness Exams at our office as well as some home/custodial visits for our seniors
- Patient care- office visits, obtain medical history, physical exams, review pertinent records/imaging/reports
- Develop an assessment-diagnosis
- Develop and implement a management plan
- Facilitate the referral of patients to the appropriate health facilities, agencies and resources within the community
- Order pharmacologic interventions
- Develop and implement an educational plan- educate patients on diagnosis, treatment plans, and preventive/lifestyle modifications
- Plan for appropriate follow-up care
- Documentation- timely and accurate
- Assist the office in any documents/reports/records that need to be filled
- Collaborate with the Nurse, medical assistants, and front office staff support team
- Collaborate and/or refer to Physicians as needed for comprehensive patient care
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- PA/NP License to practice in CA
- DEA certificate required prior to start date
- Fluent or proficient Medical Spanish is a plus, but not required
Schedule:
- Full time
- Monday through Friday (8-5)
Compensation (range):
- $75- $85 per hour
