Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Bakersfield, CA
Salary (range):
- $120k to $150k per year (depending on experience)
We are seeking a motivated Nurse Practitioner /Physician Assistant to join our medical surgical practice full-time in Bakersfield, CA. We are a busy Cosmetic surgery office, and we are looking for a PA who enjoys working with patients, helping them look and feel their best! Are you able to multitask, be organized, detail oriented and have excellent interpersonal communication skills? Then we want you and your unique skills to join us!
We are looking for a NP/PA who can assist in surgery, is willing to assist with suturing, preop/post op care, as well as performing patient exams/evaluation and procedures.

Duties:
- Patient exam/evaluation
- Chart Review- Ensure patient has medical clearances prior to Surgery
- OR assist (patient/OR prep, First Assist, suturing, post op management)
- Documentation- timely and accurate
- Diagnosis and Treatment plan
- Order/Review pertinent medical records- (labs, history, chief complaint)
- Treatments (pre/post op care, procedures, manage hormone optimization)
- Post op follow up care in office
- Collaboration with the Physician and support staff
Requirements:
- NP/Physician Assistant- Current license in CA
- 1-2 years’ experience working with adults (primary care experience a plus)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Desire to work in the OR, willing to assist the Surgeon, and perform suturing
Schedule:
- Full time (Monday- Friday)
