Physician Assistant Nurse Practitioner San Jose, CA
schedule is flexible working 2-3 days per week as well as full time options
We are looking for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our medical office full time in San Jose, CA. We are seeking a provider who can provide high quality direct patient care and management along with our multidisciplinary team, is compassionate and has an interest in physical and regen medicine. Our ideal candidate has experience or interest in physical medicine and rehab and/or orthopedics, experience working with joint and musculoskeletal pain, and US guided trigger point and joint injections but we are willing to provide training and certification for the right individual.
As the PA/NP within our office, you’ll work closely with other healthcare professionals, so you should have a team spirit and a positive attitude. Patience, problem-solving skills, and communication ability are important.

Duties:
- Direct patient care, oversight, and management
- Patient evaluations (medical history, physical exam, review pertinent medical records/imaging/records)
- Order/review diagnostic imaging and tests (X-Rays, MRI’s, etc.)
- Diagnosis of a variety of health conditions and treatment plan formulation
- Order treatments, modalities as medically necessary including DME, Rehab, Regen therapies
- Patient education as to care plan options, in-office treatment options and services, diagnosis, lifestyle modifications, rehab/corrective actions
- Collaboration with other health professionals for comprehensive patient care
- Perform Joint & Intramuscular injections to include but not limited to: PRP, trigger points, HCTP, blood draws, etc.
- Documentation- timely and accurate
- Maintain patient care schedule
- Health talks- offer advice on a variety of topics
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program, Master’s degree of higher
- Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C)
- Licensed to practice in CA
- Interested in learning new skills, treatment protocols, regen medicine, and working with an interdisciplinary team
- Ability to perform US guided Joint and trigger point injections a plus, but will train the right candidate
- Experience in rehabilitation/orthopedics a plus
- BLS current
Salary (range):
- $70 - $85 per hour (DOE)
