University is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider to help grow their Heart and Vascular Program for Mechanical Circulatory Support. The team consists of highly experienced physicians, surgeons, APPs, nurses, social workers, researchers and others. The program is nationally known for cutting edge support in both the outpatient and inpatient setting and offers a variety of support systems (long-term and short-term). The APP will be responsible for coordinating the care of patients in the hospital setting and will work closely with Advanced Heart Failure, Cardiothoracic Surgery and Intensive Care teams along with case management, social workers and other multidisciplinary teams. Minimum Requirements: 2 YEARS RECENT clinical RN employment experience in an adult critical cardiac care unit and/or intensive care unit with patients with end stage heart and pulmonary failure, A BRN recognized graduate master’s degree as a nurse practitioner, Active NP CA License, Active RN CA license, CPR certification, Active American Heart Certification, Active ACLS certification, Active NP Furnishing license, DEA CA license, Master’s Degree NP, Flexibility to work varying schedules days/nights/weekends/holidays/rotations, flexibility to orient and work at all University locations.
