A Community Health Center is seeking a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner for locum tenens coverage.
In Durango, Colorado, you can embark on thrilling outdoor adventures by taking a scenic ride on the historic Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad, explore the stunning landscapes of the San Juan National Forest with hiking and mountain biking, or go river rafting on the Animas River.
Seeking a full-time (5 days/week) or part-time (4 days/week) provider with a 3-week credentialing timeframe. Clinic hours are Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 6 PM, with provider shifts from 8 AM - 5 PM. No call required. Patient load is 15-18 per day, primarily adults but all ages seen. Candidates must be BC/BE with a CO license and DEA. COVID/Flu vaccination preferred. Support staff includes a 1.5 MA/provider ratio, RN, referral coordinator, diabetes educator, community health workers, psychiatrists, and therapists. EMR: NextGen. Rural health experience is a major plus. Preference for MD, but APPs considered.
