Physician Assistant Nurse Practitioner Leesburg, FL 34788 (1 hr N of Orlando)
We are looking for a motivated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our medical practice full time in Leesburg, FL. Our state-of-the-art practice is in beautiful central Florida, less than one hour north of Orlando and all its attractions.
We are looking for a provider who can join us on a full-time basis providing direct patient care. Our ideal PA/NP is holistically minded, comfortable working within an integrated setting, collaborating with a knowledgeable and well-respected team of professionals, to offer a comprehensive approach to patients living with acute and chronic pain. Job duties include performing joint and trigger point injections as well as some basic primary care for established patients.

We have a dynamic, well-educated team of medical professionals including a medical doctor, advance practice providers, chiropractors, rehab specialists, massage therapists, and amazing support staff.
Duties:
- Patient exam/evaluation new patient workup for physical medicine (medical history, physical exam, review pertinent med records/imaging)
- Order and review tests/labs- Blood draws
- Diagnosis and treatment plan formulation
- Patient education as to diagnosis, treatment options, rehab/exercises and various modalities
- Manage patient care (some primary care issues for established patients)
- Treatments- perform trigger point and joint injections, and BHRT (will provide training if needed)
- Documentation and progress notes- timely and accurate
- Referral for services when medically necessary
- Collaboration with the multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care
Requirements:
- Graduation from and accredited PA/NP program
- PA/NP license in FL
- Orthopedic, Physical Med and Rehab, or Pain management background is a plus
- Experience with joint/trigger injections a plus
Total Compensation (range):
- $110k-$120k per year (DOE)
Schedule:
- Full time
- Monday-Thursday 9-6 & Friday 9-1
