Nurse Practitioner Dalton, GA
We are looking for a motivated Nurse Practitioner who is experienced in orthopedics/musculoskeletal issues to join our medical practice in Dalton, GA. Our state-of-the-art office is in NW Georgia, just 30 miles SE of Chattanooga, Our ideal Nurse Practitioner is comfortable working within an integrated setting, collaborating with a knowledgeable and well-respected team of professionals, to offer a comprehensive approach to patients living with acute and chronic pain. Job duties include performing trigger point and joint injections. Must have clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner and have had experience with physical medicine/orthopedics. This position is part time, 2 days per week (Monday and Wednesday) with the potential to increase in days as patient flow/schedule increases.

Duties:
- Patient exam/evaluation (medical history, physical exam, review pertinent med records/imaging)
- Order and review tests/labs (MRIs, NCVs, etc)
- Diagnosis and treatment plan formulation
- Patient education as to diagnosis, treatment options, rehab/exercises, and various modalities
- Manage patient care
- Treatments- perform trigger point and joint injections
- Prescribe physical therapy and/or chiropractic care as needed
- Prescribe medications as necessary for pain and treatment (no narcotics prescribed)
- Documentation and progress notes – daily, timely and accurate
- Collaboration with the multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care plans
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner (NP) program
- NP license in GA
- Orthopedic, Physical Med and Rehab, or Pain management background required
- Experience with trigger point and joint injections a plus
- Must have clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner
Schedule:
- Part time
- Monday and Wednesday
Compensation:
- Up to $65/hr
