Nurse Practitioner Highland, IN (30 miles S of Chicago)
We are looking for a motivated Nurse Practitioner to join our medical practice in Highland, IN. We are looking for a provider who can join us on a full-time basis (Mon-Thursday) providing direct patient care. Our ideal Nurse Practitioner is comfortable working within an multispecialty setting, collaborating with a knowledgeable and well-respected team of professionals, to offer a comprehensive approach to patients living with acute and chronic pain, and is credentialed with Medicare. Job duties include performing ultrasound guided trigger point and joint injections. Teamwork is at the heart of our practice, as our experts in evidence-based, non-invasive care come together to address our patients needs. Our modern office is in NE Indiana, just southwest of Gary and less than 30 miles from Chicago.

We have a dynamic, well-educated team of medical professionals including a physician, advance practice provider and amazing support staff.
Duties:
- Patient exam/evaluation Functional/orthopedic focused Exams (medical history, physical exam, review pertinent med records/imaging)
- Order and review tests/labs
- Diagnosis and treatment plan formulation
- Patient education as to diagnosis, treatment options, rehab/exercises and various modalities
- Manage patient care
- Chiropractic and Physical Therapy Referrals
- Treatments- perform trigger point and joint injections (Ultrasound Guided)
- Documentation and progress notes
- Collaboration with the multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Nurse Practitioner license in IN
- Orthopedic, Physical Med and Rehab, or Pain management background is a plus
- Experience with joint injections a plus
- Credentialed with Medicare
Schedule:
- M-Thursday 10-6
- Full time
Compensation:
- $60 per hour (DOE)
