Nurse Practitioner Fort Dodge, IA
$5,000 SIGN ON BONUS
We are looking for a motivated Nurse Practitioner to join our medical practice full time in Fort Dodge, IA. The incoming NP will be responsible for looking at the body as a whole and assisting in the creation of treatment plans for our patients to receive the most comprehensive care.
You will be an essential piece of the integrated clinic and will work in tandem to collaborate with professionals to result in the most effective treatment plans and clinical outcomes. This position requires someone who will be compassionate, caring, optimistic, self-motivated and gets excited about a challenge. You must be a team player who has a genuine interest in helping others, along with an interest in changing the conversation with patients, the public and other providers about how we provide healthcare in the U.S.

Duties:
- Patient exam/evaluation (medical history, physical exam, review pertinent med records/imaging)
- Order and review tests/labs
- Diagnosis and treatment plan formulation
- Patient education as to diagnosis, treatment options, rehab/exercises, the need for care plan compliance, and various modalities
- Manage patient care
- Treatments- perform trigger point and joint injections (US guided)
- Documentation and progress notes
- Monitor patients progress and modify care as needed to help meet or exceed patient expectations
- Monitor compliance and effectively communicate the need to follow recommendations
- Recognize and acknowledge when patients improve and reach goals
- Oversee management of Medical Assistants
- Engage in effective communication with clinical and administrative staff to ensure seamless flow of production to allow for increased growth of company’s services
- Collaboration with the multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care
Requirements:
- Graduation from and accredited NP program
- NP license in IA
- Orthopedic, Physical Med and Rehab, or Pain management background is a plus
- Experience with joint injections preferred
- Fully eligible for Malpractice Insurance in IA
- 1 year experience minimum working as a Nurse Practitioner required
- 1 year experience in a private practice preferred
Compensation:
- 110k /year
Schedule:
- Mon- Friday 8am-5pm
