Physician Assistant OR Nurse Practitioner Annapolis, MD
Full time or Part time
We are looking for a motivated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our medical practice in Annapolis, MD. We are looking for a provider who can join us on a full-time or part time (3 days per week) basis providing direct patient care. Our ideal PA/NP is holistically minded, comfortable working within an integrated setting, collaborating with a knowledgeable and well-respected team of professionals, to offer a comprehensive approach to patients living with acute and chronic pain. Job duties include performing trigger point and joint injections. The provider will work as team with Functional medicine providers/nutritionists, Chiropractor, medical assistants, case managers and other support staff.

Duties:
- Patient exam/evaluation (medical history, physical exam, review pertinent med records/imaging)
- Order and review diagnostic tests/labs
- Determine diagnosis and treatment plan formulation in team setting
- Patient education as to diagnosis, treatment options, rehab/exercises and various modalities
- Manage patient care to include prescribing exercise, nutritional supplementation and medication as part of functional medical programs
- Oversee and Administer IV and/or push therapies
- Procedures- perform trigger point and joint injections
- Documentation and progress notes
- Collaboration with the multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- PA/NP license in MD
- Orthopedic, Physical Med and Rehab, or Pain management background is a plus
- Experience with joint injections a plus
Schedule:
- Full time (Mon- Friday) or Part time (3 days per week)
Compensation:
- $120k-$130k per year (DOE)
