Physician Assistant Nurse Practitioner Severna Park, MD (20 miles SE of Baltimore)
$120,000 plus (based on experience)
We are looking for a compassionate and energetic Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to join our urgent care center group full time in Severna Park, MD, just 20 miles SE of Baltimore. You will find a supportive and welcoming team to work alongside you within our fast-moving Urgent Care Center. The provider will be required to see and treat a wide variety of health care issues in patients of all ages in our busy facility. We are looking for a compassionate, caring, experienced provider who is an excellent communicator who can easily build rapport with their patients.

Duties:
- Performs and documents history and physicals of patients- assess patient health
- Evaluates and treats common acute conditions, illnesses, or minor trauma
- Performs in-office minor procedures (Administer injections and other medical procedures including laceration repair, I&D, foreign body removal and splinting)
- Provide counsel and medical treatment to patients
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Orders X-rays and review and other diagnostic tests as needed
- Develop and implement patient management plans based on lab results and/or Xrays
- Consistently and accurately documents all calls, treatments, medications, etc. in patient chart
- Instructs and counsels patients regarding diagnosis, follow up steps, overall wellness and health maintenance
- Responds to all patient questions
- Assists physicians in addressing urgent patient needs as necessary
- Collaboration with the physicians, midlevel providers, and support staff for comprehensive care
- Performs other duties/projects as assigned
Requirements:
- Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Degree graduating from an Accredited Program
- PA/NP license in MD
- Urgent Care and/or ER experience preferred
- Must be able to treat patients of all ages
Salary:
- $120,000 plus (based on experience)
