Nurse Practitioner Leominster, MA
Part time
We are looking for a motivated Nurse Practitioner to join our medical practice part time in Eastern and Central, MA. Our ideal Nurse Practitioner has a passion for helping others and providing high quality wound care, and excellent communication, patient care, and team collaboration skills. You will be providing essential wound care services at various assisted living facilities and skilled nursing facilities across Eastern and Central Massachusetts. Must be able to commute to these various locations.

Duties:
- Perform comprehensive wound assessments and develop treatment plans.
- Order and review tests/labs
- Deliver comprehensive, patient-centered wound care to residents of assisted living facilities and patients of skilled nursing facilities.
- Implement wound care therapies, monitor patient's response to treatment, and adjust treatments as necessary.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and facility staff regarding treatment plans and progress.
- Document all treatments and care provided accurately and thoroughly in electronic medical records.
- Comply with all federal and state regulations regarding wound care treatment and patient privacy.
- Collaboration with the multidisciplinary teams within the facilities for comprehensive patient care
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- NP license in MA
- Wound care certification or substantial wound care experience.
- A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience post-graduation.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records systems.
- Ability to travel to different assisted living facilities and skilled nursing facilities within Eastern and Central Massachusetts.
- Have a National Provider Identifier (NPI) number
Compensation:
- $60-$70/hr depending on experience
Schedule:
- Part time which may increase to full time
- Flexible Schedule (20 – 40 hrs/wk depending on case load)
