Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Leominster, MA
We are seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our Mental Health practice full-time or part-time in Leominster, MA. We are offering flexibility of schedule (FT or PT) and the possibility for remote working (or a hybrid/combination of in-clinic and remote).
The Psychiatric NP will be expected to utilize telehealth and/or in-clinic based visits to assess, diagnose and treat a wide variety of mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders in patients 18 yrs and older. Supportive counseling and consultation are expected, along with psychotropic medication management, as indicated, to assist patients with problems ranging from short-term interpersonal issues to severe, chronic conditions. By using medical and psychiatric data, the NP’s will aid in the development of treatment plans, monitor the effects of medications, and collaborate with the supervisory physician, primary care physicians, psychologists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to help patients restore their optimal mental health.

Duties:
- Assess, Diagnose, and treat a wide variety of mental health and psychiatric concerns in patients 18 yr +
- Patient care appointments (New patient consultation ~approx 45 min, est patients 15 min)
- Treatment plan formulation
- Orders/writes for appropriate medications for patients
- Patient Monitoring and regular follow up for those on psychiatric medication
- Performs psychotherapy on appropriate patients
- Collaboration with other social workers, supervising physician, primary care physicians, other NP’s, and support staff
- Timely and accurate paperwork and documentation
- Review labs/reports and medical documents
Requirements:
- Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
- License to practice in MA
- ANCC certification required
- Computer literacy (EMR systems, Excel, Outlook, Word)
Schedule:
- Full time or Part time (range from 16- 40 hrs per week)
- In-clinic or Telehealth (or combination/hybrid)
- Flexible Hours
- Opportunity for weekends or after hours
Salary (range):
- $75-85 per hour (depending on experience and schedule)
