A behavioral health center is seeking a family medicine nurse practitioner for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located near Springfield, Massachusetts.
This position is available ASAP for a three-month term with the option to extend. Credentialing takes less than a week. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 3 PM to 11 PM, though daytime shifts may also be available. The role is open to NPs and PAs, with no call required. Providers will handle 5-10 admissions and 5-10 consultations per day, working with adolescent and adult patients (13+). Required certifications include DEA, BLS, and a Massachusetts Controlled Substance license. COVID and flu vaccinations are required, with medical exemptions available. Support staff includes psych NPs, social workers, nursing staff, and intake coordinators.
