Job Description
Seeking a full time Nurse Practitioner for an outpatient private practice in East Stroudsburg Pennsylvania (40 miles from Allentown, Pennsylvania)
This is a Physical medicine office
We prefer the candidate to have experience in joint injection and Trigger point injections but willing to train as well.
The ideal candidate will Perform exams, evaluate clinical data, consult with our team, order appropriate tests and provide accurate and useful diagnostic information, patient education, documentation and help direction for the management of the patient's care.
NP will act as an intricate and largely independent part of the clinical team where the primary responsibility is to coordinate the overall plan of care for each patient in collaboration with the attending physician. Most of the responsibilities will be related to evaluation and management of chronic pain patients, medication management, basic and advanced interventional procedures, IV management including vitamin cocktails, hyperbaric ozone and other new and effective alternative treatments.
NP will have opportunity to participate and eventually run independent IV Clinic and Weight Loss program with additional financial benefits such as profit sharing and productivity bonuses.
NP will possess excellent communication skills (written and verbal) as well as strong interpersonal, organizational and management skills. He/she will be a self-motivated individual who works well in a independent environment. Extensive on-site training in all Pain and Addiction Medicine, Interventional Pain Management, Alternative and Integrative Medicine modalities will be provided if needed.
Requirements:
- Must be a Advanced Nurse Practitioner with current license in PA
- Graduate of accredited school
- 2-3 years of clinical experience
- Excellence in a peripheral IV line placement etc.
- Strong personal and professional interest in holistic care and alternative medicine
- Desire to educate community using both online and offline events and marketing
- Ability to run independent clinic and supervise administrative staff
