Physician Assistant Nurse Practitioner Hershey, PA 17033
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our growing private medical practice in Hershey, PA. We are seeking a provider who can provide high-quality direct patient care and management along with our multidisciplinary team, is compassionate and has an interest in restorative, rehabilitative, and regen medicine. The position will be 2 days per week to start with the possibility of increasing to 3 days.
Our ideal candidate has experience or interest in physical medicine and rehab and/or orthopedics, experience working with joint and musculoskeletal pain, and experience with injections. We are seeking a provider to assist the physician in performing bone marrow aspiration and joint injections. Must be familiar with sterile procedures.

Duties:
- Direct patient care, oversight and management
- Patient evaluations (medical history, physical exam, review pertinent medical records/imaging/records)
- Order/review diagnostic imaging
- Diagnosis and treatment plan formulation
- Order treatments, modalities as medically necessary
- Patient education as to care plan options, diagnosis, lifestyle modifications, rehab/corrective actions
- Collaboration with the healthcare team and support staff for comprehensive patient care
- Prep the patients and the procedure rooms for BMA and joint injections
- Assist the physician during the procedure with instruments and maintaining a sterile environment
- Treatments to include Intra-articular and trigger point injections, regen injections
- Documentation- timely and accurate
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner program (NP)
- PA or NP License to practice in PA
- Interested in learning new skills, treatment protocols, and working with an interdisciplinary team
- Must be experienced with sterile procedures
Schedule:
- 2 days per week to start
Compensation (range):
- $60-$70 per hour to start
