Job Description
Medical Center seeking APP to provide comprehensive healthcare services for a Student Health Clinic that offers both men’s and women’s health services
- Role requires experience in a fast-paced clinical environment such as emergency departments, ICUs, or urgent care settings.
- APP will assess, diagnose, and manage both acute and chronic conditions, with a focus on student health and well-being.
- Outpatient clinical role – no inpatient
- Standard office hours (Mon-Thurs: 8am-5pm / Fri: 8am-12pm)
- Protected administrative time (4.5 days clinic time with .5-day admin time per week)
- 36 patient contact hours / 4 admin hours
- No call
- EMR: Cerner
- Average Patient Volume: 18-22 patients per day
- Demographics: Primarily young adult patients (university students) with a mix of acute illnesses, injuries, and routine health maintenance.
- Visit Types: Acute care visits (illnesses, injuries), women’s and men’s health visits, routine physical exams, wellness visits, and follow-up appointments for chronic conditions.
- Typical Procedures: In-office procedures include simple suturing, incision and drainage, splinting, gynecological exams, basic dermatologic procedures, and vaccinations.
- Sign-on Bonus: $5k sign-on bonus to assist with the transition.
- Competitive Compensation: Guaranteed base salary (typically MGMA median) - 110-130k +/-
