Nurse Practitioner Chattanooga, TN
We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Nurse Practitioner to join our medical practice full time in Chattanooga, TN.
We are looking for a practitioner who is caring, willing to jump in and help the rest of the team when needed and desires to work in a close-knit private physical medicine practice. A strong interest in learning about musculoskeletal care and willingness to work with a multidisciplinary team is integral. The Nurse practitioner will be assessing and treating acute and chronic musculoskeletal disorders/conditions. The job duties include developing comprehensive treatment plans for patients with a variety of musculoskeletal complaints including appropriate medication management, referrals for physical therapy, chiropractic medicine, interventional musculoskeletal procedures, and surgery. Duties:
- Patient exam/evaluation (physical exam, review pertinent history/records/imaging)
- Diagnosis and treatment plan formulation
- Patient education as to care plan options, rehab/therapeutic exercises, modalities, and lifestyle modifications
- Management of Patient care and overseeing physical medicine rehab
- Treatment – trigger point injections, joint injections (PRP, viscosupplementation), prescribing rehab exercises/modalities, ordering DME (will train right candidate on injections)
- Progress notes, documentation, and records
- Collaboration with the multidisciplinary team for comprehensive care
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- NP license in TN
- Willingness to work as a multidisciplinary team
- Trigger point/Joint injections experience not required as we have a training program available
Schedule:
- Monday thru Friday (Fri hours end at 1)
Salary (range):
- $50-$65 per hour (depending on experience)
