Physician Assistant Nurse Practitioner Lubbock, TX

Part time 2-3 days per week

 

We are looking for a motivated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our medical practice in Lubbock, TX. Our ideal PA/NP is holistically minded, comfortable working within an integrated setting, collaborating with a knowledgeable and well-respected team of professionals, to offer a comprehensive approach to patients living with acute and chronic pain. Job duties include performing trigger point/joint injections.

Duties:

  • Patient exam/evaluation (medical history, physical exam, review pertinent med records/imaging)
  • Order and review tests/labs
  • Diagnosis and treatment plan formulation
  • Patient education as to diagnosis and treatment options
  • Manage patient care
  • Treatments- perform trigger point, joint and regen med injections
  • Documentation and progress notes
  • Collaboration with the multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care

 

Requirements:

  • Graduation from and accredited PA or NP program
  • PA/NP license in TX
  • Orthopedic, Physical Med and Rehab, or Pain management background is a plus

 

Compensation:

  • $600 per day
