Nurse Practitioner Lewisville, TX, 75057
Located in the heart of Lewisville, TX, directly across the street from Medical City, we are immediately seeking a single full-time or multiple part-time Nurse Practitioners.
As an integrated primary care family and physical medicine practice, we are committed to being opiate-free and focus on helping patients achieve true functional improvement, not merely suppressing symptoms. We employ physical rehabilitation , as well as various types of joint and trigger point injections to achieve this goal. We also offer primary care family medicine services such as annual physicals, medication management, onsite lab draws, medical weight loss and hormone therapy, and vitamin injections or IV administration.

You will be able to work autonomously with clinical supervision provided by our board-certified family medicine physician. In addition, specific physical medicine procedure training, such as trigger point and joint injections, will be provided if needed.

Some examples of duties include:
- Performing various symptomatic and routine patient consultations, examinations, and procedures
- Ordering, reading, and interpreting lab results and imaging
- Prescribing and managing patient medications as necessary
- Perform various joint and trigger-point injections, medical weight loss, hormone replacement therapy, and other ancillary services. Note: various procedural training from licensed practitioners will be provided
- Collaborating on treatment plans with colleagues
- Referring to other providers when appropriate
Qualifications:
- Passion for working in a multi-disciplined setting to provide superior patient care
- Advanced degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner
- Must possess relevant current Texas licenses, DEA license, and National Board Certifications with no current or pending disciplinary actions.
- Highly motivated, organized, and a team player
- Once trained, be able to work autonomously with little on-site supervision
- Experience with basic desktop software and eClinicalWorks EHR preferred
- Experience performing certain ancillary therapeutic procedures is preferred but not mandatory.
