Nurse Practitioner Falls Church, VA (4 miles E of Arlington)
Full time or Part time
We are looking for a motivated Nurse Practitioner to join our integrated medical practice in Falls Church, VA. Our state-of-the-art office is in the Washington DC metro area, less than 4 miles west of Arlington. We are looking for a provider who can join us on either a part-time basis or full-time basis providing direct patient care. Our ideal NP has an entrepreneurial spirit, willingness to learn and improve, and has a great confidence and belief in holistic and multidisciplinary approach to patient care. The incoming nurse practitioner will be collaborating with a knowledgeable and well-respected team of professionals, to offer a comprehensive approach to patients living with chronic pain, offering responsible pain management without prescription drugs and in the hopes of avoiding surgery. Job duties include performing orthopedic and functional evaluations, trigger point injections and joint injections.

Duties:
- New Patient exam/evaluation – orthopedic and functional based exam (medical history, physical exam, review pertinent med records/imaging)
- Order and review tests
- Diagnosis and treatment plan formulation
- Patient education as to diagnosis, treatment options, rehab/exercises and various modalities
- Manage patient care
- Treatments- perform trigger point, joint and regen med injections
- Ensure patient follow up and progression through care plans
- Documentation and progress notes
- Collaboration with the multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care
- Attend regular team meetings to discuss patient care plans with chiropractor and PT staff
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Nurse Practitioner license in VA
- Orthopedic, Physical Med and Rehab, or Pain management background is a plus
- Several years clinical experience preferred
- Experience with joint injections a plus
Schedule:
- Part time (3 days per week) or Full time
Compensation:
120k
