A correctional facility is seeking a family medicine nurse practitioner for locum tenens coverage.
While on assignment in Burkeville, Virginia, consider exploring the scenic High Bridge Trail State Park for a leisurely bike ride or hike, offering stunning views of the Appomattox River.
This position offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 8 AM to 4:30 PM, with an average of 18-20 adult patients per day. The role requires a VA license and DEA certification. Support staff includes RNs and LPNs, and while the facility uses a paper-based system for records, Sapphire is used for prescriptions. The credentialing timeframe is approximately two weeks.
