A State Hospital is seeking a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner for locum tenens coverage.
The top attractions to visit in Staunton are: American Shakespeare Center, Frontier Culture Museum, and Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library.
The assignment is for 3 months with an option to extend, and the credentialing timeframe is approximately 2-3 weeks. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with no call involved. Providers can expect to see 15-20 psychiatric patients per day. Required certifications include a VA license and DEA. The role is well-supported with a full triage staff, psychiatric providers, and other primary care MDs and NPs on-site.
