Job Description
DATES NEEDED Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (NP/PA)

- February start through at least August
- Trauma ER APP needed
- Setting: ER - Level I & ACS Level II
- Annual volume: 93k
- Responsibilities:
- Assist trauma surgeon in the initial evaluation and management of injured patient according to ATLS protocol
- Assist surgeon in the evaluation and management of acute care surgery consultations in the ED or in the hospital
- Perform as first assistant to the trauma or acute care surgeon in the OR
- Perform daily rounds on patients admitted to the trauma or acute care surgery service or being followed by the trauma or acute care surgery services
- EMR: Meditech
- Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (NP/PA)
