A correctional facility is seeking a family nurse practitioner for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located in Chatham, VA.
The assignment starts in April and runs through July, with the possibility of extension. The schedule is MondayFriday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or four 10-hour shifts. An autonomous NP is preferred, with no call responsibilities. The provider will see 1820 adult patients per day, supported by RNs and LPNs. A VA license and DEA certification are required, with credentialing taking approximately two weeks.
