A Corrections facility is seeking a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located in Eastern Wisconsin (near Green Bay).
The position offers a schedule of Monday to Friday, with hours from 8 AM to 5 PM or 4 PM, with an option for 10-hour shifts. The EMR system used is Cerner, and extensive training will be provided. Required certifications include Board Eligible/Board Certified status, BLS, DEA, a Wisconsin license, and three references (two from supervisors), along with proof of a COVID vaccine. Required procedures include managing injuries, acute illnesses, follow-ups, physicals, and corrections. There is a healthcare team member (HSM) on site for additional support, along with other staff available as needed.
