Job Description

Physician Assistant OR Nurse Practitioner Moorpark, CA (1 hr NW of LA)

 

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team part time in Moorpark, CA. Our state-of-the-art clinic is located 1 hour to both Santa Barbara and LA. Ideally, the incoming PA or NP is strongly committed to patient wellness and interdisciplinary collaboration, has excellent clinical skills and proficiency in joint injection techniques. As a PA/NP at our clinic, you will have the opportunity to work alongside other dynamic and well-respected healthcare professionals, including physicians, physiotherapists, massage therapists, and more, to deliver integrated care tailored to each patient's needs. Knowledge of trigger points and joint injections is a must.

Duties:

  • Patient exam/evaluation (medical history, physical exam, review pertinent med records/imaging)
  • Order and review tests/labs
  • Diagnosis and treatment plan formulation
  • Patient education as to diagnosis, treatment options, rehab/exercises and various modalities
  • Manage patient care including medication management
  • Treatments- perform trigger point and joint injections
  • Documentation and progress notes
  • Collaboration with the multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities

 

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
  • PA/NP license in CA
  • Orthopedic, Physical Med and Rehab, Primary care or Pain management background is a plus
  • Must have experience with joint and/or trigger point injections

 

Schedule:

  • Part time (1-3 days a week)

Compensation:

  • $70 - $80 per hour (DOE)
