Job Description
A thriving orthopedic practice in Steamboat Springs, CO is seeking an experienced orthopedic physician assistant to join their spine team. Join a practice of 10 orthopedic surgeons and 14 advanced practice providers who provide elite orthopedic care and get to enjoy life on the slopes in their time off.
The position would be working with the one of the region's preeminent foot and ankle teams.
The practice is seeking applicants with at least 2 years of experience working in orthopedics as a physician assistant.
The Position:
50% in clinic | 50% first assist in surgery
Provides patient pre-op and post-op education.
Writes prescriptions per protocol under physician supervision.
Assists in surgery
Full benefit package including a $5,000 sign-on bonus
Community:
Live and work in the 8th ranked ski town in United States with immediate access to skiing, hiking, mountain biking, and whitewater rafting.
Just 20 minutes from a regional airport, making travel to and from the area seemless with multiple direct flights a day to major metropolitan cities across the midwest and west coast.
Enjoy an annual snowfall of over 289 inches creating nearly 70 powder days a year in addition to mild summer climates with highs in the low 80's.
