seeking a General Cardiology Advance Practitioner Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant to serve along with our cardiology physician. The cardiology mid-level provider will be responsible for attending all patient office visits assigned to his/her schedule five (5) days per week Monday to Friday, in our office location(s). This is a salaried opportunity with benefits. Job Description Summary:
The cardiology mid-level provider will be expected to work Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to approximately 5:00 pm, until all patients in his/her schedule have been seen, all encounters properly coded, documented and completed for the day. The cardiology mid-level provider will be responsible for all patient care related to his/her patients, assisting the cardiology physician in patient care coordination and acute plan of care issues, supervise treadmill exercise for SPECT nuclear studies.
Qualifications and Requirements:
The qualifications we are seeking for the candidate is as follows:
- Board-Certified Advance Practitioner Registered Nurse degree or Board-Certified Physician Assistant with active Florida Medical License & DEA License
- 2 years minimum experience in Cardiology practice
- Familiar with hospital Electronic Health Records and dictation systems
- Great personality, team-oriented with good bedside manners.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with physicians, patients, colleagues, referring physicians, administrators, etc.
- Fluent in English. A bilingual candidate (English and Spanish) would be highly desirable.
- Reside in/or willing to relocate preferably to Lake County; or Seminole (Heathrow/Lake Mary/Sanford area) or Orange (Apopka area) counties.
