Physician Assistant Nurse Practitioner Chicago, IL
We are looking for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our large medical group full time or part time in Chicago, IL.
We are looking for a motivated and compassionate provider to join our multispecialty group in the Chicago area. We are an established private medical organization specializing in injury care and the ideal candidate will have prior experience with Illinois WC, MVA, and personal injury cases as well as have experience in primary care, occupational medicine, sports medicine, physical & rehabilitative medicine, neurology, or orthopedics.

We provide a vast array of services including physical and occupational therapy, therapeutic massage, cognitive health/therapy, pain management, occupational health, and weight management. We are an integrated medical center with an experienced and knowledgeable team of healthcare providers in several different specialties.

Duties:
- Patient exam/consultation (HPI, medical history, physical exam, review pertinent medical records/imaging) Typical patient volume 10-20 patients per day
- Documentation, detailed and timely (SOAP note- description of injury, HPI, PMH, and causation in addition to physical examination)
- Diagnosis
- Formulating clearly written assessments and treatment plans
- Provide therapies and treatment for a wide range of pain conditions
- Outpatient clinic work daily
- Order/review diagnostic imaging/records/labs
- Communicate and consult with medical staff regarding patient needs
- Discuss actions with patients that will help improve their lives/ Patient education
- Follow HIPAA Guidelines
- Keep precise medical records for each patient
- Prescribe necessary medications or therapy
- Provide patients with plan of care details and patient education re: care plans
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited PA or NP program
- Current and valid IL State PA or NP license
- Must have IL controlled substance license
- Must have current DEA number
- Prior experience with Illinois WC, MVA, and personal injury cases preferred
- Experience in primary care, occupational medicine, sports medicine, physical & rehabilitative medicine, neurology, or orthopedics preferred
- Efficient with EMR and documentation
Schedule:
- Full-time or Part-time
- Office hours are Monday thru Friday with some flexibility in clinic hours
- Will vary depending on FT or PT status
Salary (full time):
- $110k to $130k per year (depending on schedule, experience)
