4-day work week with 3-day weekends!

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Physician Assistant to join our medical practice in full time in Council Bluffs, IA. We are seeking a PA who is driven, someone who wants to make a difference in today's health care and be very impactful in their patients’ lives. Our state-of-the-art clinic is in Council Bluffs, across the river from Omaha.
Our ideal PA is comfortable working within an integrated setting, collaborating with a knowledgeable and well-respected team of professionals, to offer a comprehensive approach to patients living with acute and chronic pain, is credentialed with Medicare and has experience with injections and/or orthopedics.

We are an integrative physical medical clinic serving patients in Council Bluffs, IA. We offer innovative non-surgical options for those suffering from acute and chronic pain conditions. Our practice is dedicated to identifying opioid-free pain relief options and tailoring treatment plans to each patient. Our skilled providers work to identify the source of the pain and explore cutting-edge solutions. We employ the latest forms of integrative medicine techniques, to free patients from debilitating pain, encourage healing and mobility, and help regain an active lifestyle. We have a dynamic, well-educated team of medical professionals including a physician, advance practice provider and amazing support staff.
Duties:
- Patient exam/evaluation initial consultation (medical history, physical exam, review pertinent med records/imaging)
- Order and review tests/labs- analyzing x-rays of joints
- Diagnosis and treatment plan formulation
- Patient education as to diagnosis, treatment care plan options, rehab/exercises and various modalities
- Manage patient care
- Treatments- perform trigger point, joint and regen med injections (fluoroscopy guided injections mostly knee/shoulder)
- Documentation and progress notes- charting for each visit
- Collaboration with the multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care
- Assist the team with billing/insurance - putting in diagnosis and CPT codes correctly for billing
- Calling physicians for peer-peer reviews if needed
- Communicating with our supervising physician when needed
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant (PA) program
- PA license in IA
- Orthopedic, Physical Med and Rehab, or Pain management background is a plus
- Experience with joint injections a plus
- Fluoroscopy experience preferred
- Medicare credentialed preferred
Schedule:
- Mon-Thurs 8-6
Estimated annual earnings:
- Up to $160,000 (based on experience and credentialing)
