Unique opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work alongside group's new Foot and Ankle Podiatrist Surgeon starting in August of 2024. Full-time position primarily in Fergus Falls, MN with potential for occasional outreach to additional internal facilities; 36 patient contact hours/week requirement Conduct physical examinations, assess patientsand#8217; medical histories, and perform relevant diagnostic tests On a weekly basis, serve as a first assistant during foot and ankle surgical procedures and regularly support patients at the wound care center Evaluation of foot and ankle conditions to include infections, chronic diseases, abnormalities, and injuries. Minor office-based clinic procedures include: ingrown toenail removals ganglion cyst aspirations, wound debridement; joint/neuroma/plantar fascia injections, cryotherapy, and punch biopsies Epic EMR EDUCATION andamp; LICENSING REQUIREMENTS: License to practice medicine andamp; DEA in Minnesota upon start Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Successful completion of PANCE board examination for Physician Assistant candidates or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) BLS required Surgical or similar procedural type experience preferred, but not required COMPENSATION/BENEFITS: Base compensation salary is guaranteed starting at $118,000/year for the first 2 years of employment, plus the opportunity to earn additional income based on production volumes. $2,000 annual CME reimbursement andamp; paid professional dues and memberships Relocation reimbursement andamp; sign on bonus 7% annual employer contributions into 401K plan; fully vested to the employee at the time the employee is eligible to participate in the plan after 6 months of employment.
