Job Description
Medical Center is seeking locum Physician Assistants and Acute Care Nurse Practitioners
• Cardiac Intensive Care Unit
• Contract length: 7 months-ongoing
• Coverage needed includes (14) 12-hour shifts every 28 days
• Primary need is for nighttime coverage-7pm to 7am
• Options include 3–4 night shifts per week or 7 nights per week depending on locums preference
• Opportunity exists to work weekend day shift 7 am to 7pm
• 24-bed state of the art ICU
• Established team with high quality academic intensivists.
• Ability to perform procedures including: Arterial Lines, Central Venous Lines, Intubation, Ventilator Management
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and diagnoses.
• Develop treatment plans and order diagnostic tests.
• Prescribe medications and therapies in line with scope of practice
• Collaborate with healthcare teams.
• Provide patient education and follow-up care
Required: at least 2 years of ICU experience and DEA
Preferred: Cardiac ICU experience
