Physician Assistant OR Nurse Practitioner Southampton, PA (25 miles NE of Philly)
Part time or Full-time availability
We are looking for a Physician Assistant OR Nurse Practitioner to join our urgent care center group in Southampton, PA. You will find a supportive and welcoming team to work alongside you within our fast-moving Urgent Care Center. The incoming Physician Assistant OR Nurse Practitioner will be required to see and treat a wide variety of health care issues in patients of all ages in our busy center. Whether you are seeking full time or part time, we encourage you to apply! This position will require the incoming provider to cover shifts independently, with remote supervision only. We require the PA/NP to have at least 4 years’ experience.

Duties:
- Provide direct care to patients of the clinic (Office/urgent care visits and acute care visits)
- Evaluates and treats common acute conditions, illnesses, or minor trauma
- Performs in-office minor procedures (small laceration repairs, joint splinting, closed reduction of small joints, wound care, I&D, joint/trigger point injections, Admin IM antibiotics/steroids, and local analgesics)
- Orders and reviews diagnostic tests, X-rays, labs, and bloodwork (UA, Strep, EKG, Flu, Drug screen, Urine Pregnancy)
- Consistently and accurately documents all calls, treatments, medications, etc. in patient chart
- Instructs and counsels patients regarding diagnosis and follow up steps
- Responds to all patient questions
- Collaboration with the physicians, other midlevel providers, and support staff for comprehensive care
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant OR Nurse Practitioner program
- Must be comfortable/able to see patients 2 weeks and up
- PA/NP License in PA
- Active DEA Registration preferred
- Valid ACLS & PALS certifications preferred
- At least 4 years’ experience required
- Should be comfortable/knowledgeable to perform basic urgent care procedures.
Schedule:
- Full time or part time
Compensation (range):
- $65/hr
