Job Description
Seeking a locum Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Contract length: February to May 2025
2025 February and March dates available
On-site, no call, days/nights/weekends
Shift times (6a-4p, 9a-8p, 4p-10p, 7p-6a)
Required: 4-5 years ED experience
Number of beds: 47
Census: Average 130
Daily admissions: 30-35
No consults
Patient population: Mostly adult, some pediatric
Most common cases: Chest pain, abdominal pain, MVC, extremity injury, cough/illness, abscess, laceration repair, vaginal bleeding in pregnancy
Trauma level 3 – APPs see mostly acuity level 3-5
EMR: MediTech
Support staff: RNs, LPNs, Techs
Required procedures: I&D, Laceration repair
