Job Description
Seeking a locum Emergency Medicine Advanced Practice Provider
Shift times: 8a-6p, 9a-9p, 3p-1a
No call
25 ED beds
Daily admissions: 40
Average 5 consults per day
All age groups with 95% being adult
Not a trauma center
Average patient census: 96
Support staff: Nursing Techs, Transport
1-2 EM physicians on staff per shift
Required procedures: Suturing, I&D, reductions (assisted by physician)
Types of cases: CHF, COPD, Abdominal pain, Strokes, Heart Attack (General EM case load)
Most common cases for locum: URI, cough, cold, abdominal pain, chest pain, shortness of breath, extremity injuries
Must have at least 2 years of Emergency Medicine experience
