Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant- Family Medicine Opportunity
University Medicine Associates (UMA) is the mission-driven, non-profit, multi-specialty group of University Health (UH) serving San Antonio and surrounding communities. A dedicated team of 600 (and growing!) credentialed providers, 75+ PCP’s delivering the highest quality of patient care and offering more than 26 different types of services.
UMA/UH is presently seeking a patient-centered board-certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to deliver high-quality comprehensive care services to diverse patient population of our community.
Practice Details:
- University Health’s FFACTS Clinic is funded in part by the Ryan White Treatment and Modernization Act. We strive to improve the health and well-being of people living with HIV/AIDS in San Antonio and throughout South Texas
- FFACTS is a comprehensive clinic where patients get their HIV/AIDS care. We offer services such as, life coaching, professional case management, psychiatric services, and mental health/substance use counseling
- Opportunity to train in specialization relevant to infectious diseases, primary care, and public health
- Understanding the diverse social and cultural factors that impact care, especially in populations at higher risk
