Nurse Practitioner New Haven CT
We are looking for a motivated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our practice in New Haven, CT. Our ideal Nurse Practitioner is experienced in orthopedics/musculoskeletal issues, comfortable working within an integrated setting, collaborating with a knowledgeable and well-respected team of professionals, to offer a comprehensive approach to patients living with chronic pain. Job duties include performing injections, so experience doing those types of procedures is a plus.

Duties:
- Patient exam/evaluation (medical history, physical exam, review pertinent med records/imaging)
- Order and review tests/labs
- Diagnosis and treatment plan formulation
- Patient education as to diagnosis, treatment options, rehab/exercises, and various modalities
- Manage patient care
- Treatments- trigger point and injections under US guidance
- Documentation and progress notes – daily, timely and accurate
- Collaboration with the team and senior providers as needed for comprehensive patient care plans
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner (NP) program
- NP license in CT
- Minimum of 3+ years’ clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner
- Orthopedic, Physical Med and Rehab, or Pain management background is preferred
- Experience with trigger point and joint injections preferred
- Spanish speaking a plus but not required
Schedule:
- Full time (Monday – Friday) 8:00am-4:30pm
Compensation:
- $125k-$130k annually (DOE) plus potential bonus compensation
